LAGOS, Nigeria – Globally, there are now 239, 547, 288   confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 4,880,311  patients are no more, while 6,573,945, 534  doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 44,757, 459 confirmed cases, while 721, 025 others could not make it alive(89, 823 new and 1719 deaths*), followed by India with 34, 020, 730  all time cases, while 451,435 patients have perished (18, 987 new and 246 deaths*). Brazil has documented 21, 612,237  all time cases while 602, 099 patients have perished(22, 140 new and 701 deaths*).

The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 8, 356, 430  all time cases, while 138, 645  patients are no more alive(44, 776 new and 158 deaths*), followed by Russia, which has documented 7, 773, 388  all time cases, while 216, 403 lives are no more(30, 489 new and 965 deaths*) and Turkey with 7, 570,  902 all time cases and 67,044 deaths(30, 709 new and 203 deaths*).

France has come up as the 7th country most hit, reporting 7, 174,580 all time cases, while 118, 110 patients have died (9656 new and 32 deaths*) and Iran, which has documented 5, 754, 047 all time cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 123,498 patients have passed on(11, 964 new and 223 deaths*)  and Argentina with 5, 268, 653 all time cases, while 115,582 patients have kicked the bucket(1314 new and 35 deaths*).

Spain remains the 10th country most afflicted, reporting 4, 982, 138 confirmed cases and 86, 917 deaths (1932 new and 48 deaths*) and South Africa with 2, 914, 827 all time cases, while 88, 506 lives are no more(947 new and 40 deaths*).
