LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 175 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 208, 153. But out of the 208, 153 confirmed cases, 195, 936 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 756 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 9461 active cases.

Globally, there are now 238, 602, 942 all time cases, 4,863, 863 patients are no more, while 6, 512,501, 005 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted, reporting 44, 549, 229 all time cases, while 716, 335 patients have passed on(130, 389 new and 2505 deaths*) , followed by India with 33, 985, 920 all time cases, while 450, 963 patients have kicked the bucket(14, 313 new and 181 deaths*) and Brazil, with 21, 590, 097 confirmed cases and 601, 398 deaths(14, 277 new and 387 deaths*).
The United Kingdom remains the 4th country most hit, reporting 8, 270, 022 confirmed cases, while 138, 348 others have perished(37, 941 new and 181 deaths*) and Russia, which has reported 7, 714, 973 all time cases, while 214,476 patients have died(27, 414 new and 954 deaths*) and Turkey which has registered 7, 475, 085 all time cases, while 66, 368 lives have perished.
France has come up as the 7th country most hit with 7, 163, 086 confirmations and 118, 019 deaths(5880 new and 56 deaths*) followed by Iran with 5, 729, 785 all time cases, while 123,081 lives have been wasted(13, 391 new and 213 deaths*) and Argentina which has documented 5, 266, 275 all time infections, while 115,491 others could not make it alive(416 new and 18 deaths*).
Spain remains the 10th country most afflicted, reporting 4,977, 448 all time cases, while 86, 827 lives are no more and South Africa, the most afflicted country in Arica.
South Africa has reported 2, 912, 938 all time cases, while 88, 429 lives have perished(592 new and 83 deaths*).
