LAGOS, Nigeria – Things will never be the same for Nollywood star, Tonto Dikeh and former lover Joseph Egbri, better known as Prince Kpokpogri.
The romantic relationship between the two, flaunted all over the social media turned sour following a leaked audio between Merit and Kpokpogri during which he talked lavishly about his several sexual escapades, with Nollywood biggest celebrities and his plans to have more with some of the new girls making waves in the industry.
It is alleged to be the conversation between the Prince and Merit, one of his girlfriends.
From the audio, Prince Kpokpogri appears to be the typical ladies’ man and he seems to enjoy the status moving from one girl to the other and talking carelessly about the amorous affairs he has had with them.
Prince Kpokpogri has denied that the voice in the audio isn’t his. But even in his denial, Tonto remains resolute and says the Prince would do better deceiving the world apart from herself.
“Thank you so much Prince. God Bless you. You can lie to the world, but you can’t lie to me. There is nothing you have done or did that I don’t know, I just pretend or stay mute to be a fool so that you do you don’t fight your friends.
“This is your cross carry it. But leave my name out of everything you have to say to the public. I have given you all the love I can ever give you. I have failed and lost people dear to me because of you. I have been caught off from circles I benefit from because of you. I alone know what I have sacrificed to be with you but Prince I wouldn’t be doing that, no more. If you grew up with a mother, you would at least understand the value of one. How can a grown up man talk like a child.
“To even be telling people you buy(bought) me a dildo sending my video to people to laugh at me. You see the peace you desire will be taken away from you and not by me but by some one you will love. I will not disrespect you but if anymore shit comes out and my name gets dragged in it you will hate – I existed. Prince You are truly disgusting,” Tonto told Prince Kpokpogri.
Tonto Dikeh who holds herself as a very truthful person said she has no bone of lie in her.
“I tried so hard to ignore all these. You can’t ridicule me with the story that you broke off this relationship and then I leaked a voice note that would affect me too. You can’t also use my past to Hurt me either… A relationship ended privately, you should have left it in peace that way… Rather you went ahead with your blackmail threats and actually carried your threat out.. You begged me to publicly come out and defend you in this and I didn’t, is that my crime? How could I support you with such a demeaning leaked Voice note!!!. Click HERE to listen to the voice note.
“So far you have been the salty one and I have folded my hands to watch…I would love to respect you. But you would need to give me the opportunity to do so. Respect is earned!! #This will be my last public statement on this”, Tonto Dikeh said.
Responding, Prince continued to maintain her innocence, noting that beyond going to the shop of the lady in question, there was nothing more.
“Beyond going to her shop opening years back, our relationship has only been on phone. We have been family friends for years and the husband, someone that’s close to me. It is a taboo where I come from to sleep with a married woman even though I am still single, worse of all, with a married Isoko lady who will pay the ultimate price if she does that. Do not drag her and any other name in your imagination into our ship that has long sank”, he said, adding “ I have lived and living a clean life. No amount of blackmail can pull me down”, Prince Kpokpogri said.
