LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 357 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 183, 444. But out of the 183, 444 confirmed cases, 167, 459 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 229 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 13, 756 active cases of Coronavirus, while 6 patients died in the last 24 hours.#coronavirus

There are now 208, 390, 911 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 4, 378, 629 patients are now more, while 4, 747, 374, 511 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
The centre reports that the United States remains the most afflicted, reporting 36, 975, 238 all time cases and 623, 155 deaths (104, 995 new and 876 deaths*), followed by India which has documented 32, 250,679 all time cases and 432, 079 deaths (25, 166 new and 437 deaths*) and Brazil which has documented 20, 378, 570 all time infections, while 569, 492 lives have been wasted by the pandemic.
France is the 4th country most hit with 6,573,730 confirmations and 113, 092 deaths(96, 875 new and 305 deaths*) , followed by Russia reporting 6, 551,934 all time infections, while 169, 169 lives have been wasted(19, 349 new and 785 deaths*), and the United Kingdom which has documented 6, 352, 224 all time cases and 131,466 deaths(26, 873 new and 170 deaths*) .
Turkey is the 7th country most hit, reporting 6, 096,786 all time cases, while 53, 324 patients are no more, followed by Argentina which has registered 5, 088, 271 all time cases, while 109, 105 patients are no more and Colombia now reporting 4, 870, 922 confirmed cases, while 123, 580 patients have perished due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Spain remains the 10th country worst hit, now reporting 4, 733, 602 confirmed cases, while 82, 739 patients have lost their lives since the outset of the pandemic (14, 336 new and 144 deaths*) and South Africa, now reporting 2, 624, 254 all time infections, while 77, 993 patients have kicked the bucket(10, 685 new and 553 deaths*).
