LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 304 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 185, 571. But out of the 185, 571 confirmed cases, 168, 124 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 247 patients could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 15, 200 active cases, while 3 patients died in the last 24 hours. #Coronaviruspandemic

There are now 210, 583, 364 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 4, 411,709 patients have passed on while 4, 865, 521,181 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 37, 436,678 all time cases, while 626, 292 patients are no more(165, 480 new and 1382 deaths*), followed by India with 32, 358, 829 all time cases, while 433,589 patients have passed on(36, 571 new and 540 deaths*) and Brazil which has documented 20, 528, 099 confirmation, while 573, 511 patients are no more(70, 202 new and 1849 deaths*).
France has come up as the 4th country most hit, reporting 6, 659, 686 all time cases, while 113, 460 patients are no more(24, 269 new and 94 deaths*) followed by Russia which has registered 6, 613, 107 all time cases and 171, 480 deaths(20, 402 new and 764 deaths*) and the United Kingdom with 6, 459, 527 all time cases, while 131, 805 lives have been wasted by the pandemic(37,235 new and 115 deaths*).
Turkey has come up as the 7th country most hit, reporting 6, 177, 660 all time cases, while 54, 095 patients have kicked the bucket,(19, 918 new and 204 deaths*) followed by Argentina which has documented 5, 116, 803 all time cases, while 109, 841 patients have passed on(10, 596 new and 189 deaths*) and Colombia with 4, 883, 932 all time cases, while 124, 023 patients have died from the virus(6, 609 new 242 deaths*).
Spain remains the 10th country most afflicted, now reporting 4, 770, 453 all time cases, while 83, 136 patients are already dead(12, 450 new and 132 deaths*) and South Africa which has documented 2, 666, 964 all time cases and 78, 983 deaths(14, 312 new and 289 deaths*).
