LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 473 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 177, 615. But out of the 177, 615 confirmed cases, 165, 472 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 185 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 9958 active cases of Coronavirus pandemic, while 7 patients died in the last 48 hours.

There are now 202, 105, 740 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic, 4,284, 043 patients are already dead, 4, 375, 633,210 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 35,730,560 all time cases, while 616, 710 lives have perished as a result of the pandemic(185, 073 new and 874 deaths*), followed by India, which has reported 31,895, 385 confirmations and 427,371 deaths(38, 628 new and 617 deaths*) and Brazil which has registered 20, 108, 746 all time cases, while 561, 762 patients have perished.
France has come up as the 4th country most hit, reporting 6, 350, 899 all time cases, while 112, 379 patients have been killed by the virus(26, 684 new and 36 deaths*), followed by Russia which has documented 6, 340, 370 all time cases, while 161, 343 patients are no more(21, 727 new and 769 deaths*) and the United Kingdom which has reported 6, 070, 779 confirmed cases, while 130, 585 patients have been killed by the virus(28, 429 new and 103 deaths*).
Turkey remains the 7th country most hit, reporting 5, 870, 741 all time cases, while 51, 976 patients are no more alive, followed by Argentina with 5, 002, 951 all time infections and 107, 213 deaths (13, 549 new and 190 deaths*) and Colombia, which has documented 4, 828, 583 all time cases, while 122, 087 patients have passed on.
Spain remains the 10th country most afflicted, reporting 4, 588, 132 all time infections, while 82, 006 patients are no more alive and South Africa which has reported 2, 523, 488 confirmations while 74, 623 patients are no more (12, 310 new and 271 deaths*).
