LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 404 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 171, 728. But out of the 171, 728 total cases, 164, 837 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 134 patients could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 4757 active cases of Coronavirus.

There are now 195, 126,326 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic, 4, 173, 871 patients are already dead, while 3, 916, 950, 833 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
The centre has reported the United States of America as the most afflicted country with 34,589, 719 confirmations while 611, 251 lives have perished(69, 206 new and 336 deaths*), followed by India, which has reported 31, 440,951 confirmed cases, while 421,382 patients have passed on(29, 689 new and 415 deaths*) and Brazil which has documented 19, 707, 662 all time infections, while 550, 502 patients have lost their lives(18, 999 new and 578 deaths*).
Russia has come up as the 4th country most afflicted, reporting 6, 094, 379 cases, while152, 836 lives have been wasted(22, 486 new and 767 deaths*), followed by France which has reported 6, 088, 828 all time infections, while 111,882 patients have died(31, 986 new and 70 deaths*) and the United Kingdom which has reported 5, 771, 563 all time cases, while 129, 591 patients are now dead(23, 755 new and 131 deaths*) .
Turkey remains the 7th country most hit, reporting 5, 618, 417 confirmations and 50, 997 deaths and Argentina, which has documented 4, 859,170 total cases, while 104, 105 patients have passed on(12, 555 new and 384 deaths*) and Colombia with 4,736, 349 confirmed cases and 119, 182 deaths(8, 503 new*).
Spain has come up as the 10th country most hit with 4, 368, 453 all time cases, while 81, 323 patients are no more(26, 399 new and 55 deaths*) and South Africa, which has reported 2, 391, 223 all time cases, while 70, 338 patients have kicked the bucket(7733 new and 320 deaths*).
