LAGOS – Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 56 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases to 167, 859.But out of the 167, 859 all time cases, 164, 382 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 121 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 1356 active cases of Coronavirus pandemic.

There are now 183, 655, 863 confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, 3,974,029 patients are already dead, while 3, 189, 892,139 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 33, 716, 377 confirmed cases, 605,519 deaths(2,751 new and 25 deaths*) and India which has reported 30, 545,433 all time cases, while 402, 005 patients have been killed by the pandemic(43,071 new and 955 deaths*) and Brazil with 18, 742, 025 confirmations while 523,587 lives have been wasted by the virus(54, 556 new and 1635 deaths*).
France has come up as the 4th country most hit, now reporting 5, 848, 171 confirmations while 111, 323 lives have passed on(2549 new and 9 deaths*), followed by Russia with 5, 544, 209 all time cases and 135,637 deaths(24, 693 new and 650 deaths*) and Turkey with 5, 440, 368 all time infections, while 49, 874 patients are no more.
The United Kingdom has come up as the 7th country most afflicted with 4, 920, 156 confirmed cases, while 128, 486 patients are no more(23, 891 new and 15 deaths*), followed by Argentina which has documented 4, 526, 473 all time infections, while 95, 594 lives have passed on(14, 034 new and 212 deaths*) and Colombia, which has reported 4, 324, 230 all time cases and 108, 314 deaths.
Italy remains the 10th country most hit with 4, 263, 317 all time cases, while 127, 649 patients have passed on (806 new and 12 deaths*) and South Africa which has registered 2, 062, 896 confirmed cases, while 61, 840 lives are no more(16, 585 new and 333 deaths*).
