JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – HUAWEI Assistant·TODAY, a personal assistant available for download on newer versions of Huawei devices, has launched new exciting updates. These updates aim to help users organize their lives the way they envision by improving productivity and providing access to many services in one spot – saving them time, effort, and energy.
The application has been enhanced with a new user interface, making the digital assistant more customisable and geared towards users’ preferences. One downward swipe to refresh HUAWEI Assistant·TODAY, and the entire experience gets upgraded to the latest version.
The personal assistant redesign introduces ‘Cardify’ of services in the ‘Moments’ section, which offers users instant access to their favourite services and apps including food and entertainment. This means entertainment and food deliveries are just a swipe away – a necessity for many who want to avoid long walks in the heat.
The new features also boasts time-saving perks. For users, service cards can be more convenient than apps – enabling them to save time and effort while downloading their favourite apps. By holding and dragging the card, users can easily customise their assistant to their liking.
These cards include apps for weather, health and fitness, calendar, and these are in two sizes so that users set the visual experience to their preference. The all-new ‘Discover’ module in the ‘Moments’ section leads the user directly to a discovery zone, which includes apps and services developed by Huawei and by partners.
HUAWEI Assistant·TODAY now also includes ‘My Services’ for quick access to recently-added services or to add new ones – for a more tailored and personalised experience overall. The Newsfeed section, which compiles a variety of local and global sources, has also undergone a transformation in how it identifies and shortlists the news to display, and the layout of the service itself.
Users can now upgrade HUAWEI Assistant·TODAY on HUAWEI AppGallery to the latest version, and simply swipe down to start their summer journey with a new, aesthetic assistant experience.
