LAGOS, Nigeria -The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 86 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in the country, bringing all time cases in the country to 167, 292.
But out of the 167, 292 all time cases, 163, 797 patients have been treated and discharged, while 2, 118 patients could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 1, 377 active cases of Coronavirus.

There are now 178, 630,271 confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 3, 868, 654 patients have passed on while 2,637, 239,196 doses of Coronavirus vaccines have been administered worldwide based on the latest updates from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 33,550,465 cases while 601, 978 lives have been wasted by the pandemic, followed by India which has reported 29, 935, 221 all time cases, while 388, 135 patients have passed on, followed by Brazil which has reported 17, 927, 928 all time infections, while 501,825 patients are no more.
France has come up as the 4th country most afflicted, reporting 5, 819, 575 all time cases, while 110, 940 lives are no more, followed by Turkey which has documented 5, 375, 593 all time infections, while 49, 236 patients have been killed by the virus and Russia which has reported 5, 272, 328 all time infections, while 127, 641 lives have been wasted by the pandemic.
The United Kingdom has come up as the 7th country most hit, reporting 4, 656, 535 all time cases, while 128, 245 patients have passed on, followed by Argentina with 4, 268, 789 all time cases, while 89,043 patients have passed away and Italy which has documented 4, 253,460 infections, while 127, 291 lives have passed on.
Colombia remains the 10th country most hit, reporting 3, 945, 166 confirmations, while 99, 934 patients have been killed by the pandemic and South Africa which has registered 1, 832, 479 all time cases, while 58, 795 patients have perished as a result of the pandemic.
