LAGOS – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 53 new cases of Coronavirus pandemic, bringing all time cases to 165,612.

But out of the 165,612 confirmed cases, 156, 387 others have been treated and discharged, while 2,066 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 7159 active cases of Coronavirus.

“NCDC@NCDC gov 53 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-36, Rivers-14, Akwa Ibom-3: 165,612 confirmed; 156,387 discharged;2,066 deaths”, the NCDC has announced.

Globally, there are now 160, 796, 041 confirmed cases, 3, 339, 412 deaths while a total of 1, 380, 137,601 doses of vaccines have been administered worldwide.
