ASABA, Nigeria – Ndigbos across the federation are today marking Biafra Heroes Day in reaction to call by the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for residents to stay at home and away from business.
IPOB is marking the day to remember many who have been slain in the quest to actualize the Sovereign State of Biafra.
Reports across the South Eastern states so far show complete compliance with the directive by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Even in Asaba, Delta State, the sit at home order took effect.

Forinstance, Chibest Chukwu reports that the popular Ogbe ogonogo modern market and streets in Asaba, Delta State is totally shut down in compliance to the Sit @ Home order in remembrance of Biafra Heros and Heroines.
