MAKURDI, Benue, Nigeria – It is now clear that Nigeria is derailing and heading very fast down hill and it seems no one is safe, not even the governors. The attack on the Executive Governor of Benue State, Mr. Samuel Ortom is not only surprising but a bad omen for Nigeria.
It appears the headers have been empowered to attack and possibly kill anybody that stands on their way. Shortly after Samuel Ortom survived attack by alleged Fulani herdsmen, Samuel Ortom granted an interview wherein he revealed that he has been singled out for assassination since he has been the only person speaking against attempt by the Fulanis to take over Nigeria.

The governor said the Fulanis met and decided that they must take Nigeria at all cost as their country and every other person in Nigeria as a slave. The governor said he was alarmed when the Fulanis issued the statement and singled him out as the only person creating problem for the Fulani race in their quest to harness Nigeria.
“Behind the scene, I also heard that I was targeted for elimination that they will go after me in my house and in my farm, this is not the first time, .. I heard intelligence that they will come after me that they will kill my security personnel and capture me alive and give me gradual killing”, the governor revealed adding that his life is in the hands of God.
“ My life is in the hands of God, not in the hands of any Fulani or any body. I will fight for the truth, justice, equity and fairness until I die”, he said, adding “I appreciate the security personnel attached to me, they could not have access to me. I thank god for my fitness, I was able to run for more than 1 and half kilometers and they could not have access to me”, he said.
