IKEJA, Nigeria – Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has come out of isolation after testing negative to the Coronavirus pandemic. Sanwo-Olu has been in quarantine in the last 14 days receiving treatment.
The governor who addressed the press at the Lagos House, Marina, thanked Lagosians and the medical team for their care, prayers and concern throughout the isolation period.
While in isolation, Sanwo-Olu rolled out a number of measures to contain recent spike in the number of cases of Coronavirus recorded daily. Among which is total ban on carnivals, parties and night clubs.
The governor also said that all religious organisations must not exceed 50 percent capacity of each hall and that any religious gathering should not exceed 2 hours. The governor also called on all workers in Lagos State to work from home, except those on Level 14 and above.
