LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 281 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases to 67,838  total cases but out of the 67,838   all time confirmed cases  63,430  patients have been treated successfully and discharged, while 1,176 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3232 active cases of Coronavirus, #CoronavirusNigeria.

Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-123,  FCT-64,  Kaduna-38,  Imo-15, Rivers-11,  Plateau-8,  Ogun-5,  Bayelsa-4,  Kwara-4,  Bauchi-3,  Edo-3,  Kano-2 and Osun-1, making a total of 281 new cases of Coronavirus.

There are now 63, 621, 474 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide,  1, 475, 851 deaths, while 40, 803, 156 others have been treated and discharged. There are now 21, 342, 467 active cases of Coronavirus globally, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University,(JHU) Maryland has reported.

JHU reports that the United States of America remains the most afflicted country,  with confirmed cases now put at 13, 653, 957, while 269, 667 patients have been killed by the virus, while 5, 146, 319 others have been treated and discharged, leaving the United States of America with 8, 237, 971  active cases of Coronavirus(161, 856 new cases), followed by India, which has reported 9, 462, 809 all time cases, 137, 621 deaths till date while  8, 889, 585 others have been able to overcome the pandemic, leaving India with 435, 603 active cases of Coronavirus(30, 848 new cases) and Brazil with  6, 335, 878 confirmed cases,  173, 120 deaths, while 5, 681, 648 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Brazil with 481, 110 active cases of Coronavirus(21, 407 new cases).

Russia remains the 4th country most hit with  2, 302, 062 all time cases,  40, 050 deaths while  1, 787, 962 others have recovered, leaving Russia with 474, 050 active cases of Coronavirus(26, 126 new cases) followed by France which has reported 2, 275, 016 confirmations,  52, 819 deaths, while 167,913 others have been treated and discharged, leaving France with 2, 054, 284 patients still sick hoping for the best of medical care to keep living(437 new cases) and Spain with  1, 656, 444 all time cases,  45, 511 deaths, while 150, 376 patients have survived, leaving Spain with 1, 460, 557 active cases of Coronavirus(8, 257 new cases).

The United Kingdom remains the 7th country most affected, reporting 1, 647,  223 all time infections,  59, 148 patients have lost their lives, while 3, 586 patients have been able to survive the pandemic since the outset, leaving the UK with 1, 584, 489 active cases of Coronavirus(13, 571 new cases), followed by  Italy which has documented 1, 620, 901 confirmed cases,  56, 361 deaths and  784,595 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Italy with 779, 945 active cases(19, 347 new cases) and Argentina which has reported  1, 424, 533  all time cases, 38, 730 patients have passed on while 1, 257, 227 others have recovered, leaving Argentina with 128, 576 active cases of Coronavirus(5, 726 new cases).

Colombia remains the 10th country most afflicted, reporting  1, 316, 806 confirmed cases, 36, 766 deaths and  1, 210, 489 recoveries, leaving Colombia with 69, 551 active cases of Coronavirus(8, 430 new cases), followed by South Africa, now the 16th country most affected with 792, 299 all time cases, 21, 644 patients are already dead, while 732, 531 others have been discharged, leaving South Africa with 38, 124 active cases of Coronavirus(2,295 new cases).
