LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 246 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases to 67,220. But out of the 67,220  all time cases,  62,686 patients have been treated and discharged, while  1,171  others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3363 active cases of Coronavirus, #Coronavirusnigeria.

Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-81,  FCT-73,,  Plateau-39,  Kaduna-25,  Ogun-13,  Bauchi-5,  Rivers-4,  Ekiti-2,  Taraba-2  and Kano-2, making a total of 246 new cases of Coronavirus.

There are now 61, 418,477 confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 1, 439,802 patients are already dead while 39, 266, 027 others have been treated and discharged. There are now 20, 712, 648 active cases of Coronavirus globally, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, (JHU), Maryland has reported.

According to JHU,  the United States of America remains the most affected country on earth, reporting 12, 993, 261 all time cases, 264, 241 deaths and  4, 871, 517 others have recovered, leaving the USA with 7, 857, 503 active cases of Coronavirus(133, 544 new cases), followed by India which has documented 9, 309, 787 all time infections,  135, 715 patients are already dead, while 8, 718, 517 others have recovered, leaving India with 455, 555 patients still sick hoping for the best of care to keep living(43, 082 new cases) and Brazil which has reported 6, 204, 220  all time cases,  171, 460 patients are no more while 5, 556,887 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Brazil with 475, 873 active cases of Coronavirus(37, 614 new cases).

France remains the 4th country most hit with 2, 247, 996 all time cases,  51, 998 deaths and 165, 493 others have recovered, leaving France with 2, 030, 505 active cases of Coronavirus(12, 559 new cases), followed by Russia, with 2, 196, 691 all time cases,  38, 175 patients have been killed by the virus, while 1, 697, 618 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Russia with 460, 898 active cases of Coronavirus(27, 267 new cases)  and Spain which has reported 1, 628, 208 confirmed cases, 44, 668 deaths, while 150, 376 others have been discharged, leaving Spain with 1, 433, 164 active cases of Coronavirus(10, 853 new cases).

The United Kingdom has come up as the 7th country most hit by the virus, reporting 1, 593, 177 all time cases, 57, 648 patients have passed on while only 3, 457 others have been able to recover , leaving the UK with 1, 532, 072 patients looking up for the best of treatment to get back on their feet(14,748 new cases), followed by  Italy which has reported 1, 538, 217  confirmed cases,  53, 677 deaths, while 696, 647 others  have been treated and discharged, leaving Italy with 787, 893 active cases of Coronavirus(28, 342 new cases) and Argentina which has documented 1, 399, 431 total infections, 37, 941 deaths and 1, 226,662 recoveries, leaving Argentina with 134, 828 active cases of Coronavirus(9,043 new cases).

Colombia remains the 10th country most hit, reporting 1, 280, 487 confirmed cases, 36, 019 patients are already dead, while  1, 181,753 others have survived, leaving Colombia with 62, 715 active cases of Coronavirus(9, 496 new cases) and South Africa  now the 16th country most affected, reporting 778,571 all time infections,  21, 289 deaths and 716, 444 others have been treated and discharged, leaving South Africa with 40, 838 active cases of Coronavirus(3, 069 new cases).
