LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 169 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases to 66974. But out of the 66974 all time cases, 62,585 patients have been treated successfully and discharged while 1,169 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3220 active cases of Coronavirus, #coronavirusnigeria.
Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Kaduna-74, FCT-42, Lagos-17, Kano-8, Ogun-6, Oyo-6, Rivers-6, Ekiti-3, Bauchi-3, Katsina-2, Delta-1 and Ondo-1, making a total of 169 new cases of Coronavirus.

There are now over 60 million confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide. Specifically, there are currently 60, 803,071 confirmed cases worldwide, 1, 428, 685 lives have so far been lost to the virus, while 38, 919, 671 others have been treated and discharged. There are now 20, 454, 715 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, JHU, Maryland has reported.
According to JHU, the United States remains the most affected, reporting 12, 859, 717 all time cases, 263,199 deaths, while 4, 835, 956 others have recovered, leaving the US with 7, 760, 562 active cases of Coronavirus(143, 829 new cases), followed by India, which has reported 9, 266, 705 all time cases, 135, 223 deaths while 8, 679, 138 others have been treated and discharged, leaving India with 452, 344 active cases(44,489 new cases) and Brazil which has documented 6, 166, 606 all time infections, 170, 769 patients are already dead, while 5, 534, 010 others have regained their health, leaving Brazil with 461, 827 active cases of the pandemic(47, 898 new cases).
France remains the 4th country most hit by the virus, reporting 2, 235, 437 confirmations, 51, 039 deaths and 163,814 others have recovered, leaving France with 2, 020, 584 active cases of Coronavirus(13, 829 new cases) followed by Russia which has confirmed 2, 169, 424 all time cases, 37, 688 patients are no more while 1, 671, 349 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Russia with 460, 387 patients still down with Coronavirus, hoping for the best of care to get back on their feet (25, 195 new cases)and Spain which has documented 1, 617, 355 confirmations, 44, 374 deaths and 150, 376 recoveries, leaving Spain with 1, 422, 605 patients hoping for the best to keep living(12, 289 new cases).
The United Kingdom remains the 7th country worst hit, reporting 1, 578, 429 all time infections, 57, 128 patients are no more, while only 3, 454 patients have survived the pandemic, leaving the UK with 1, 517, 847 patients still very sick hoping for the best of medical care to keep living(17, 583 new cases) and Italy which has reported 1, 509, 875 all time cases, 52, 850 deaths and 661, 180 recoveries, leaving Italy with 795, 845 active cases of Coronavirus(29,001 new cases) and Argentina which has reported 1, 390, 388 confirmations, 37, 714 patients have already passed on while 1, 217, 284 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Argentina with 135, 390 active cases of Coronavirus(8, 593 new cases).
Colombia remains the 10th country most hit, reporting 1, 270, 991 confirmations, 35, 860 patients are no more, while 1, 174, 959 others have survived the ailment, leaving Colombia with 60, 172 active cases of Coronavirus(8, 497 new cases) and South Africa now the 16th country worst hit with 775, 502 confirmed cases, 21, 201 patients are already dead, while 716, 444 others are now hale and hearty, leaving South Africa with 37, 857 active cases of Coronavirus(3, 250 new cases).
