LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 152 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases to 65,148.

But out of the 65,148 all time cases, 61,073 patients have been treated and discharged, while 1,163 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 2912 active cases of Coronavirus.

Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-136,  Kano-4,  Niger-3,  Ekiti-2,  Kaduna-2,  Ogun-2,  Taraba-2 and  FCT-1, making a total of 152 new cases of Coronavirus.

Confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide now stands at 54, 251,464, while 1,315,291  patients have been killed by the virus, 34, 845, 423 others have been treated and discharged. The world is now left with 18, 090, 750  active cases of Coronavirus based on current statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country, reporting 10, 997, 987 confirmed cases, 245, 979 deaths, while 4, 148, 444  patients have recovered, leaving the United States with 6, 603, 564 active cases of Coronavirus(143, 936 new cases), followed by   India, which has reported  8, 814,  579 all time cases,  129, 635 deaths, while  8, 205, 728 others have been treated and discharged, leaving India with 479, 216 active cases of Coronavirus(41, 100 new cases) and Brazil which has documented  5, 848,959 confirmations,  165, 658 patients are already dead, while  5, 279, 452 others have been able to overcome the pandemic, leaving Brazil with 403, 849 active cases of Coronavirus(38, 307 new cases).

France is has come up as the 4th country most affected by the virus, reporting 1, 915, 713  all time cases,  42, 600 deaths, while 139, 760  others are now hale and hearty, leaving France with 1, 733, 353  active cases of Coronavirus, followed by Russia which has documented 1, 910, 149 confirmed cases,  32, 885 deaths, while 1,429, 565 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Russia with 447, 699 active cases of Coronavirus(22, 313 new cases) and Spain  which has reported  1,458,591 cases since the outset of the pandemic,  40, 769 deaths, while 150, 376 patients have recovered, leaving Spain with 1, 267, 806 patients still sick hoping for the best of medical care to keep living.

The United Kingdom now stands as the 7th country most hit, reporting  1, 372, 884 all time cases, 52, 026 deaths, while only 3, 120 patients have been able to recover from the pandemic, leaving the UK with 1, 317, 738 active cases of Coronavirus(24, 982 new cases), followed by Argentina with 1, 304, 846 all time cases,  35, 307 patients are no more, while 1, 119,366 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Argentina with 150, 173 active cases of Coronavirus(8, 468 new cases), followed by   Colombia which has documented 1, 191, 634 confirmed cases,  33, 829 patients have passed on while 1, 097, 576 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Colombia with 60, 229 active cases of Coronavirus(8, 937 new cases).

Italy now stands as the 10th country most affected by the virus, reporting  1, 178, 529 confirmations,  45, 229 deaths and 420, 810 recoveries, leaving Italy with 712, 490 patients still sick, looking up for the best of care to get back on their feet(33, 977 new cases) and South Africa, now the 15th country most hit, reporting 749, 182 all  time cases, 20, 206 deaths and 693, 261 recoveries, leaving South Africa with 35, 715 active cases of Coronavirus(2, 245 new cases).
