LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 112 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases to 64,996.

But out of the 64,996 all time cases,  61,029 patients have been treated and discharged, while 1,163  others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 2804 active cases of Coronavirus, #coronavirusngr.

Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Abuja-27,  Oyo-27, Bayelsa-9, Rivers-9, Delta-7, Edo-5, Kaduna-5, Ogun-5, Anambra-3, Katsina-3, Ondo-3, Osun-3, Plateau-3, Niger-2 and Kano-1, making a total of 112 new cases of Coronavirus.

There are now 53,738, 847 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 1, 307,874 patients have died, while 34, 586, 437 others have been treated and discharged. There are now 17, 844, 563 active cases of Coronavirus globally, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland has reported.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted country with the Coronavirus pandemic, reporting  10,854, 051 confirmed cases,  245, 249  patients have been killed by the virus, while 4, 095, 146 others have recovered, leaving the United States with 6, 513, 656 active cases of Coronavirus(178, 231 new cases), followed by India which has reported  8, 773, 479 confirmations,  129, 188 deaths and  8, 163, 572 recoveries, leaving India with  480, 719  patients still sick, hoping for the best of care to keep living(44, 684 new cases) and Brazil which has reported 5, 810, 652 all time cases,  164, 737 patients  are already dead, while  5, 274, 812 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Brazil with 371, 103 active cases of Coronavirus(29, 070 new cases).

France has moved up as the 4th country most afflicted by the  virus, reporting  1, 915, 713 all time cases,  42, 600  patients have passed on, while  139, 760 patients have been treated and discharged, leaving France with 1, 733, 353 active cases of Coronavirus(285 new cases), followed by Russia with  1, 887,836 confirmations,  32, 536 patients are no more, while 1, 415,213 others have  been treated and discharged, leaving Russia with  440, 087 active cases of Coronavirus(22, 441 new cases) and  Spain, which has documented  1, 458, 591  all time cases, 40, 769 patients are already dead, while 150, 376 others have been discharged, leaving Spain with 1, 267, 446 active cases of Coronavirus.

The United Kingdom has come up as the 7th country most affected, reporting  1, 347,902 confirmed cases,  51, 858 deaths, while only 3, 102 patients have been assisted to the point of recovery, leaving the UK with 1, 292, 942 active cases of Coronavirus(26, 871 new cases), followed by Argentina which has confirmed  1, 296, 378 cases since the outset of the pandemic,  35, 045 deaths and  1,110, 477 recoveries, leaving Argentina with 150, 856 active cases of Coronavirus(11, 859 new cases) and Colombia which has confirmed 1, 182, 697 all time cases,  33, 669 deaths and  1, 089, 340 recoveries, leaving Colombia with 59, 688  active cases of Coronavirus(8, 685 new cases).

Italy has assumed the 10th country worst hit by Coronavirus, with  1, 144,552 all time cases, 44, 683 deaths and 411,434 recoveries, leaving Italy with 688, 435 active cases of Coronavirus(37, 249 new cases) and South Africa now the 15th country most affected, reporting  746, 945 confirmations, 20, 153 deaths, while  692, 177  others have been discharged, leaving South Africa with 34, 615 active cases of Coronavirus
