LAGOS, Nigeria -The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 137 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing all time cases to 63,173.
Out of the 63,173 all time cases, 59,634 patients have been treated and discharged, while 1,151 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 2888 active cases of Coronavirus, #coronavirusngr.
Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-60, Abia-21, Abuja-18, Rivers-13, Kaduna-5, Oyo-4, Edo-3, Delta-2, Imo-2, Kano-2, Ogun-2, Bauchi-1, Gombe-1, Nasarawa-1, Niger-1 and Osun-1, making a total of 137 new cases of Coronavirus.

There are now 47, 235, 585 confirmed cases of Coronavirus globally, 1, 210, 335 deaths, while 31, 451, 118 patients have recovered. There are now 14, 574, 132 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most affected country, reporting 9, 344,717 all time cases, 232, 173 deaths, while 3, 674, 981 patients have been treated successfully and discharged, leaving the United States with 5, 437, 563 active cases of Coronavirus(90, 430 new cases) , followed by India which has reported 8, 267, 623 confirmed cases, 123, 097 patients are already dead, 7, 603, 121 others have been treated and discharged, leaving India with 541, 405 active cases of Coronavirus(38, 310 new cases) and Brazil which has documented 5, 554, 206 cases since the outset of the pandemic, 160, 253 patients have been killed by the virus, while 5, 039, 438 others have been given clean bill of health, leaving Brazil with 354, 515 active cases of Coronavirus(8,501 new cases).
Russia remains the 4th country most hit by the virus with 1, 661, 096 confirmed cases, 28, 611 patients have lost their lives, while 1, 244, 012 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Russia with 388, 473 patients still very sick and hoping for the best of care to keep living(18, 431 new cases), followed by France which has reported 1, 460, 745 cases since the outset of the pandemic, 37, 485 deaths, while 123, 664 patients have been treated and discharged, leaving France with 1, 299, 596 active cases of Coronavirus(1, 746 new cases) and Spain which has reported 1, 259, 366 confirmations, 36, 495 deaths while 150, 376 patients have recovered, leaving Spain with 1, 072, 495 active cases of Coronavirus(18, 669 new cases).
Argentina has come up as the 7th country most affected with 1, 183,131 confirmed cases, 31, 623 deaths and 998, 016 recoveries, leaving Argentina with 153, 492 active cases of Coronavirus(9, 598 new cases), followed by Colombia which has documented 1, 093,256 cases, 31, 670 deaths and 985,796 recoveries, leaving Colombia with 75, 790 active cases of the virus(10,489 new cases) and the United Kingdom, which has suffered the highest casualty in Europe. The United Kingdom has reported 1, 057,045 confirmed cases, 46, 943 deaths while only 2, 859 patients have been saved from the pandemic, leaving the United Kingdom with 1,007, 243 active cases of Coronavirus(31 new cases).

Mexico is 10th country most hit, reporting 933, 155 confirmations, 92, 100 deaths and 795, 356 recoveries, leaving Mexico with 45, 699 patients still down with Coronavirus, hoping for the best to remain alive(3, 763 new cases) and Italy with 759, 829 confirmed cases, 39, 412 patients have died, while 302, 275 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Italy with 418, 142 active cases(28, 241 new cases) and South Africa which has reported 728, 836 confirmed cases, 19, 539 deaths and 659, 259 recoveries, leaving South Africa with 50, 038 active cases of Coronavirus, #coronavirussa(1,241 new cases).
