LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 151 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases to 59,992.
Out of the 59,992 confirmed cases 51,614 patients have been discharged, while 1,113 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 7, 265 active cases of Coronavirus.
Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-71, Ogun-26, Kaduna-17, Osun-10, Oyo-8, Abuja-6, Rivers-6, Plateau-5, Akwa Ibom-1, Ekiti-1, making a total of 151 new cases.

The Coronavirus pandemic which has disrupted economic activities has shown no sign of slowing down as confirmed cases hit 36, 706, 213 worldwide, 1, 064, 420 patients have passed on while 25, 510, 557 others have survived, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland has reported.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most hit by the pandemic, reporting 7,645, 302 all time cases, 213, 360 patients have passed on while 3, 021, 252 others have recovered, leaving the United States with 4, 411, 960 active cases of Coronavirus(53,783 new cases), followed by India, which has reported 6, 906, 151 cases, 106, 490 deaths and 5, 906, 069 recoveries, leaving India with 893, 592 coronavirus patients hoping for the best of medical care to regain their health(70, 496 new cases) and Brazil which has documented 5, 028, 444 all time cases, 148, 957 patients are no more, while 4, 488, 092 others have recovered, leaving Brazil with 391, 395 active cases of Coronavirus(27, 750 new cases).
Russia now 4th worst hit by Coronavirus has documented 1, 265, 572 cases since the first case was reported, 22, 137 patients have died, while 1,005, 199 others have survived, leaving Russia with 238, 236 active cases of Coronavirus(11, 969 new cases), followed by Colombia, which has reported 886, 179 confirmations, 27, 180 patients have lost their lives to the virus, while 773, 973 others are now hale and hearty, leaving Colombia with 85, 026 patients to treat for Coronavirus and Spain which has reported 861, 112 cases over time, 32, 929 patients are no more, while 150, 376 others have been discharged, leaving Spain with 677, 807 patients to assist to the point of recovery(12, 788 new cases).
Argentina now stands as the 7th country most hit by the virus with 856, 369 all time cases, 22, 710 deaths and 684,844 recoveries, leaving Argentina with 148, 815 patients to assist medically to get back on their feet(15, 454 new cases), followed by Peru, which has confirmed 838, 614 cases over time, 33,098 patients are dead, while 728, 216 others have been discharged, leaving Peru with 77, 300 patients hoping for the best of medical care to overcome the virus(2, 952 new cases) and Mexico, which has reported 804, 488 cases since the first case was reported, 83,096 patients have been killed by the virus, while 682, 604 others have been discharged, leaving Mexico with 38, 788 active cases of Coronavirus(25, 300 new cases).
France now stands as the 10th country most afflicted by Coronavirus with 732,043 cases since the first case was reported, 32, 601 patients have died, while 103, 064 patients have been discharged, leaving France with 596, 378 active cases of Coronavirus(20, 339 new cases), followed by South Africa with 686, 891 all time cases, 17, 408 patients already dead, while 618,771 others have been discharged, leaving South Africa with 50, 712 patients down with Coronavirus, hoping for the best of care to get back on their feet and the United Kingdom which has reported 578,384 all time cases, 42, 769 patients have kicked the bucket, while only 2, 486 patients have been assisted medically to regain their health, leaving the United Kingdom with 533, 129 active cases of Coronavirus(13, 883 new cases) and Iran, which has documented 492, 378 cases, 28,098 people are no more, while 401, 379 others have recovered, leaving Iran with 62, 901 patients to assist to overcome the virus(4, 142 new cases).
Chile, now the 13th country most hit has documented 477, 769 cases, 13, 220 patients have been killed by the virus while 450, 297 others have been discharged, leaving Chile with 14, 252 active cases of Coronavirus and Italy, now the 16th country most affected with 343, 770 cases recorded over time, 36, 111 patients have been killed, while 237, 549 others have recovered, leaving Italy with 70, 110 active cases and China now the 45th country worst hit by Coronavirus, reporting 90, 736 all time cases, 4, 739 patients are no more, while 85, 628 others have recovered, leaving China with 369 active cases of Coronavirus.
