LAGOS, Nigeria – There are now 40,632,190 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 1, 121,574 patients have been killed by the virus, while 27, 767,889 others have been treated and discharged. The world is now left with 11, 742,727 active cases, the Centre for System Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland had reported.
According to the centre, the United States remains the most affected, reporting 8, 258, 568 confirmations, 220, 806 deaths and 3, 272,603 recoveries, leaving the United States with 4, 765, 159 active cases of Coronavirus(55, 889 new cases), followed by India with 7,597, 063 cases confirmed over time, 115, 197 deaths, 6,733, 328 recoveries, leaving India with 748, 538 Coronavirus patients hoping for the best of care to keep living(46, 790 new cases) and Brazil which has reported 5, 250, 727 all time cases, 154, 176 patients are no more, while 4, 526, 393 others have recovered, leaving Brazil with 570, 158 active cases of Coronavirus(15, 383 new cases).
Russia remains the 4th country worst hit, reporting 1, 422, 775 cases recorded over time, 24, 473 patients have been killed by Coronavirus, while 1,080,461 others have survived the virus, leaving Russia with 317, 841Coronavirus patients to assist to get out of their present predicament(16, 108 new cases), followed by Argentina, which had documented 1,002, 662 confirmations, 26, 716 deaths, while 803, 965 others been treated and discharged, leaving Argentina with 171, 981 active cases of Coronavirus(12, 982 new cases) and Spain with 988, 322 cases recorded over time, 34, 210 patients are already dead, while 150, 376 others are now hale and hearty, leaving Spain with 803, 736 patients still down with Coronavirus, looking up to government for the best of care to get back on their feet(13, 873 new cases).
France has moved up to the 7th country worst hit, reporting 973, 068 confirmed cases, 33, 909 patients have passed on, while 110, 515 others have survived the pandemic, leaving France with 828, 644 active cases of Coronavirus(21, 219 new cases), followed by Colombia which has reported 965,883 all time cases, 29, 102 deaths and 867,961 recoveries, leaving Colombia with 68, 820 active cases of Coronavirus(6, 311 new cases) and Peru, which has documented 870, 876 confirmations, 33, 820 sick people are no more, while 784, 056 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Peru with 53,000 patients hoping for the best of medical care to keep living(2, 201 new cases).
Mexico has moved up to the 10th country most afflicted with 854, 926 cases recorded since the first cases was discovered, 86, 338 patients have died as a result of the virus, while 727, 759 others have recovered, leaving Mexico with 40, 829 active cases of Coronavirus (3, 699 new cases) and the United Kingdom which has suffered the highest casualty in Europe.
The United Kingdom has documented 765, 484 all time cases, 44, 057 patients have been killed by Coronavirus, while only 2, 622 people have been discharged, leaving the UK with 718, 805 patients hoping for the best of medical care to regain their health(21, 364 new cases) and South Africa which has reported 705, 254 confirmed cases, 18, 492 patients have given up the ghost, while 635, 257 others have recovered, leaving South Africa with 51, 505 patients in need of medical care to keep living(1, 461 new cases).

Now 49th country worst hit, China has documented 91,006 all time cases, 4, 739 deaths and 85, 840 recoveries, leaving China with 427 active cases of Coronavirus.
