LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 179 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases to 60,834.
But out of the 60,834 all time cases, 52,143 patients have been treated and discharged, while 1,116 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 7, 575 active cases of #coronavirusngr.
Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-116, Anambra-20, FCT-9, Oyo-9, Rivers-9, Delta-3, Nasarawa-3, Edo-2, Kaduna-2, Ogun-2, Plateau-2, Ekiti-1 and Osun-1, making a total of 179 new cases of #coronavirusngr.

There are now 38,351,539 confirmed cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 1,089,186 people infected with the virus have passed on while 26, 540,006 others have survived the ailment – there are currently 10, 722, 347 active cases worldwide, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland has reported.
According to the centre, the United States remains worst hit so far, with 7, 899, 313 cases, 216, 513 deaths and 3, 124, 593 recoveries. The United States is now left with 4, 558, 207 active cases of #coronavirus(51, 599 new cases), followed by India, which has documented 7, 239,389 cases, 110, 586 patients are already dead, while 6, 301, 927 others have been treated and discharged, leaving India with 826, 876 patients down with Coronavirus hoping for the best to get back on their feet(63, 509 new cases) and Brazil which has reported 5, 113, 628 cases over time, 150, 998 deaths and 4, 526,393 recoveries. Brazil is left with 436, 237 active cases of Coronavirus (10, 220 new cases).

Russia comes in as the 4th country most hit, reporting 1, 332, 824 cases over time, 23,069 patients are no more, while 1, 035, 141 others have survived the ailment, leaving Russia with 276, 614 patients hoping for the best of medical attention to continue living(14, 041 new cases), followed by Colombia, which has documented 924, 098 all time cases, 28, 141 patients have been killed by the virus, while 806, 703 others have survived, leaving Colombia with 89, 254 active cases of the pandemic(5, 014 new cases) and Argentina with 917,035 confirmed cases, 24, 572 patients are already dead, while 742, 235 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Argentina with 150, 228 active cases of Coronavirus(13, 305 new cases).
Spain comes next as the 7th country most affected with 908,056 cases recorded over time, 33, 413 patients have passed on while 150, 376 others have recovered, leaving Spain with 724, 267 active cases(11, 970 new cases), followed by Peru with 853, 974 cases recorded over time, 33, 419 patients have lost their lives, while 753,959 patients have been able to survive the pandemic, leaving Peru to contend with 66, 596 patients hoping for the best of care to keep living(2, 803 new cases), and Mexico, which has confirmed 825, 340 all time cases, 84, 420 deaths and 703, 457 recoveries, leaving Mexico with 37, 463 active cases of Coronavirus(4, 295 new cases).
France now sits as the 10th country worst hit, reporting 820, 017 cases, 33, 056 patients have been killed by Coronavirus, 105, 936 others have been given clean bill of health, leaving France with 681, 025 patients to assist in their quest to remain alive(22, 591 new cases)#coronavirusfr and South Africa which has reported 696,414 confirmations, 18, 151 patients have died, while 626,898 others have been healed of the pandemic, leaving South Africa with 51, 365 active cases of Coronavirus(1,877 new cases) and the United Kingdom, which has suffered the highest casualties so far in Europe. The United Kingdom has documented 657, 455 all time cases, 43, 245 patients have kicked the bucket, while only 2, 550 patients have been able to survive the pandemic, leaving the United Kingdom with 611, 660 active cases(19, 748 new cases)#coronavirusuk.
Italy, which currently sits as the 17th country most hit has reported 372, 799 all time cases, 36, 289 patients have already died, while 244, 065 others have recovered, leaving Italy with 92, 445 active cases of Coronavirus(7, 332 new cases).
