LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 113 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases to 61,307.
But out of the 61,307 all time cases, 56,557 patients have been treated and discharged, while 1,123 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3,627 active cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, #coronavirusngr.
Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-37, Kaduna-16, Ogun-11, Plateau-11, Taraba-8, Rivers-7, Abuja-6, Enugu-4, Niger-4, Edo-3, Delta-2, Imo-2, Benue-1 and Kano-1, making a total of 113 new cases of Coronavirus.

There are now 39, 511, 049 confirmed cases, 1, 106,871 deaths, while 27, 150, 902 patients have survived the pandemic. There are presently 11, 253, 276 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide, #coronavirus based on statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States still remains the most affected worldwide, reporting 8, 090,241 confirmed cases, 219, 047 patients have been killed by the virus, while 3, 197, 539 patients have survived the pandemic, leaving the United States with 4, 871, 655 active cases of Coronavirus(57, 436 new cases), followed by India with 7, 432, 680 cases confirmed over time, 112, 998 patients are no more, while 6, 524, 595 others have recovered, leaving India with 795, 087 active cases of the pandemic(62, 212 new cases) and Brazil which has reported 5, 200, 300 all time cases, 153, 214 patients have been killed by the virus, while 4, 526, 393 others have recovered, leaving Brazil with 520, 693 active cases of the pandemic(30, 914 new cases).
Russia remains the 4th most afflicted country, reporting 1, 376, 020 all time cases, 23, 857 deaths and 1,060, 279 recoveries, leaving Russia with 291, 884 patients hoping for the best of medical care to keep living(14, 703 new cases), followed by Argentina, which has documented 965, 609 cases over time, 25, 723 patients are already dead while 778, 501 others have been able to overcome the virus, leaving Argentina with 161, 385 active cases of Coronavirus followed(16, 546 new cases) by Colombia with 945, 354 cases confirmed over time, 28, 616 patients have been killed by the virus, 837, 001 others have regained their health, leaving Colombia with 79, 737 patients to treat for Coronavirus(8, 372 new cases).
Spain has been pushed to the 7th country worst hit, confirming 936, 560 all time cases, 33, 775 deaths, while 150, 376 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Spain with about 752, 409 active cases of Coronavirus, followed by France, which has documented 876,560 all time cases, 33, 325 deaths and 108,014 recoveries, leaving France with 735, 221 active cases of Coronavirus(442 new cases), followed by Peru which has confirmed 862, 417 cases, 33, 648 patients have passed on while 769,077 others have recovered, leaving Peru with 59, 692 active cases of Coronavirus(2, 677 new cases).
Mexico has come up as the 10th country worst hit, reporting 841, 661 confirmations, 85,704 patients are already dead, while 712, 250 others are now hale and hearty, leaving Mexico with 42, 707 active cases of Coronavirus(6, 751 new cases), followed by the United Kingdom which has documented 708, 297 all time cases, 43, 669 patients have died, while only 2, 573 patients have been assisted by the authority to the point of recovery, leaving the United Kingdom with 662, 055 active cases of Coronavirus(16, 194 new cases), followed by South Africa with 702, 131 confirmed cases, 18, 408 deaths and 630, 436 recoveries, leaving South Africa with 53, 287 patients hoping for the best of medical care to remain alive(1, 928 new cases).
Italy now the 16th country worst hit has documented 402, 536 cases over time, 36, 474 deaths and 249, 127 recoveries, leaving Italy with 116, 935 active cases of Coronavirus(10, 925 new cases).
