LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 212 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases to 61,194.
Out of the 61,194 all time cases, 52,304 patients have been treated and discharged, while 1,119 others could not make alive, leaving Nigeria with 7, 771 active cases of Coronavirus, #coronavirusngr.
Breakdown of the 212 new cases is as follows, Lagos-85, Oyo-72, FCT-21, Ogun-11, Plateau-11, Katsina-6, , Kaduna-5 and Osun-1, making a total of 212 new cases of Coronavirus.
“NCDC@NCDCgov212 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-85, Oyo-72, FCT-21, Ogun-11, Plateau-11, Katsina-6, , Kaduna-5 and Osun-1; 61,194 confirmed 52,304 discharged 1,119 deaths”, the NCDC said in a statement.
On the global scale, there are currently 39, 169,713 confirmed cases, 1, 101, 412 patients could not make it alive, while 26,959, 026 others have recovered. There are now 11, 109, 275 active cases of Coronavirus globally, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland has reported.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most afflicted, reporting 8, 032, 805 confirmed cases, 218, 410 patients are no more, while 3, 177, 397 others have been treated and discharged, leaving the United States with 4, 636, 998 active cases of Coronavirus(66, 171 new cases), followed by India with 7, 370, 468 all time cases, 112, 161 deaths and 6, 453,779 recoveries, leaving India with 804, 528 active cases of Coronavirus(63, 371 new cases) and Brazil which has documented 5, 169,386 all time cases, 152, 460 patients are no more, while 4, 526,393 others have been given clean bill of health, leaving Brazil with 490, 533 patients hoping for the best of medical attention to keep living(28, 523 new cases).
Russia remains the 4th country worst hit with 1, 361, 317 confirmations, 23, 580 patients are already dead, while 1,051, 780 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Russia with 285, 957 Coronavirus patients to assist to the point of recovery(14, 937 new cases), followed by Argentina with 949,063 all time cases, 25, 342 patients are already dead, while 764, 750 others have recovered, leaving Argentina with 158, 971 patients, hoping for the best of care to keep living(17, 096 new cases) and Colombia, which has reported 936,982 confirmed cases, 28, 457 patients have been killed by the virus, while 826, 831 others have been given clean bill of health, leaving Colombia with 81, 694 active cases of Coronavirus(6, 823 new cases).
Spain is the 7th country worst hit with 936, 560 confirmations, 33, 775 deaths and 150, 376 recoveries, leaving Spain with about 752, 409 active cases of the virus(15, 186 new cases), followed by France, which has reported 876, 118 all time cases, 33, 324 deaths and 107, 657 recoveries, leaving France with 735, 137 patients to treat for Coronavirus(25, 121 new cases) and Peru, which has documented 859, 740 all time cases, 33, 577 deaths and 764, 750 recoveries, leaving Peru with 61, 413 active cases of Coronavirus.

Mexico stands as the 10th country worst hit, reporting 834, 910 confirmed cases, 85, 285 patients have passed on, while 707,631 others have been able to overcome the pandemic, leaving Mexico with 41, 994 patients in need of medical attention to continue living(5, 514 new cases), followed by South Africa which has documented 700, 203 all time cases, 18, 370 patients are no more, while 629, 260 others have been treated and discharged, leaving South Africa with 52, 573 active cases of Coronavirus and the United Kingdom which has suffered the highest casualty in Europe.
The United Kingdom has documented 692, 103 confirmed cases, 43, 519 patients have been killed by Coronavirus, while only 2, 563 patients have been assisted to the point of recovery, leaving the UK with 646, 021 active cases of Coronavirus (15, 648 new cases) and Italy, now 17th country worst hit. Italy has reported 391, 611 cases over time, 36, 427 patients are already dead, while 247, 872 others are now hale and hearty, leaving Italy with 107, 312 active cases of Coronavirus(10,009 new cases) .
