LAGOS, Nigeria -The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 164 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases to 60,430 .
Out of the 60,430 confirmed cases 51,943 patients have been treated and discharged, while 1,115 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 7, 372 active cases of Coronavirus#coronavirusngr.
Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-64, Abuja-26, Enugu-20, Kaduna-11, Oyo-11, Plateau-8, Ondo-7, Anambra-4, Nasarawa-3, Osun-3, Ebonyi-2, Imo-2, Benue-1, Katsina-1 and Ogun-1

Globally, there are now 37, 693, 968 confirmed cases, 1, 078, 874 people have passed on while 26, 130, 521 others have recovered, putting active cases worldwide at 10, 484, 573, based on current statistics from Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States remains the worst hit nation till date with India almost closing in. However, there are currently 7, 796, 525 confirmed cases in the US, 215, 022 patients have passed on, while 3, 075, 077 others have been treated and discharged, leaving the US with 4, 506, 426 active cases of Coronavirus(39,679 new cases), followed closely by India which has also confirmed 7, 120, 538 cases, 109, 150 deaths while 6, 149, 535 others have recovered, leaving India with 861, 853 Coronavirus patients looking up to government for the best of treatment to get back on their feet(66, 732 new cases) and Brazil which has reported 5, 094, 979 all time cases, 150, 488 deaths, while 4, 526, 393 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Brazil with 418, 098 active cases of Coronavirus(12, 242 new cases).

Russia remains the 4th country worst hit with 1, 305, 093 confirmed cases, 22, 594 lives have been lost to the virus while 1,019,905 others have been given clean bill of health, leaving Russia with 262, 594 cases of Coronavirus(13, 406 new cases), followed by Colombia with 911, 317 cases recorded over time, 27, 834 patients have been killed by the virus, while 789,787 others have recovered, leaving Colombia with 93, 696 patients to assist with treatment(8, 570 new cases), followed by Argentina, which has documented 894,206 cases, 23, 868 patients are now more, while 721, 380 others have overcome the virus, leaving Argentina with 149, 620 active cases of Coronavirus(10, 324 new cases).
Spain has dropped to 7th country most hit, reporting 888, 968 cases, 33,124 patients have died as a result of the pandemic, while 150, 376 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Spain with 705, 468 cases of Coronavirus(27, 856 new cases), followed by Peru, which has documented 849, 371 cases, 33, 305 patients have passed on, while 743, 969 others have been able to overcome the virus, leaving Peru with 72, 097 active cases of Coronavirus(3, 283 new cases) and Mexico which has confirmed 817, 503 cases, 83,781 people have kicked the bucket while 694,214 others have regained their health, leaving Mexico with 39, 508 active cases of the pandemic(3, 175 new cases).
France retains the 10th country most affected, reporting 775, 600 cases over time, 32, 702 patients are already dead, 103, 916 others have recovered, leaving France with 638, 982 patients hoping for the best of medical attention to get back on their feet(43, 176 new cases)#coronavirusfr, followed by South Africa, which has confirmed 693, 359 cases, 17, 863 patients have been killed by the pandemic, 624,659 others have been treated and discharged, leaving South Africa with 50, 837 active cases of the ailment and the United Kingdom, which has suffered the highest casualty in Europe. The United Kingdom has confirmed 620, 420 cases since the first cases was reported in the UK, 42, 965 patients have lost their lives, while only 2, 509 patients have been able to come out alive after spending days in isolation, leaving the U.K with 574, 946 patients looking up to government for the best to keep living(13, 974 new cases).
Italy has dropped to the 17th country most hit, reporting 359,569 cases over time, 36, 205 patients are no more, while 240, 600 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Italy with 82, 764 active cases of Coronavirus and China where the virus was first reported. China, now the 46th country most hit by the virus has documented 90,823 all time cases, 4, 739 people are no more, while 85, 673 people have been treated and discharged, leaving China with 411 active cases of Coronavirus.
