LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 321 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing the total number to 52, 548 cases.
Out of the 52, 548 all time cases, 39, 257 patients have been discharged while 1,004 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 12, 287 Coronavirus patients.
Breakdown of the 321 new cases is as follows, Lagos-98, Abuja-34, Kaduna-30, Nasarawa-25, Benue-21, Plateau-17, Rivers-15, Adamawa-11, Ogun-11, Enugu-9, Edo-8, Delta-7, Ekiti-7, Gombe-5, Ebonyi-4, Bayelsa-3, Kano-3, Ondo-3, Cross River-2, Imo-2, Kebbi-2, , Niger-2, Abia-1and Bauchi-1

Globally, there are currently 23,528,652 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, 810,087 total deaths, while 15, 187, 384 patients have survived based on the latest statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the Centre, the United States still remains the most affected, with 5, 734, 075 all time cases, 177, 118 total deaths, while 1, 997, 782 patients have recovered, leaving the United States with 3, 559, 175 Coronavirus patients(35, 232 new cases), followed by Brazil with 3, 605, 783 confirmed cases, 114, 744 deaths over time, while 2, 948, 815 patients have been able to overcome the pandemic, leaving Brazil with 542, 224 patients (23, 421 new cases), followed by India, which has reported 3, 106, 348 all time cases, 57, 542 deaths over time, while 2, 338, 035 patients have survived the virus, leaving India with 710, 771 active cases of Coronavirus(61, 408 new cases).

Russia is the next most affected country, reporting 959, 016 confirmed cases, 16, 406 accumulated deaths, while 771, 357 patients have been cured, leaving Russia with 171, 253 live cases of the pandemic, followed by South Africa which has documented 611, 450 all time cases, 13, 159 deaths over time, while 506, 470 others have been able to overcome the ailment, leaving South Africa with 91, 821 patients in the hospitals(1, 677 new cases), followed by Peru with 594, 326 all time cases, 27, 663 deaths since the first case was reported, while 399, 357 others have been cured, leaving Peru with 167, 306 Coronavirus patients(9,090 new cases).
Mexico is next in the 7th place, with 560, 164 total confirmed cases of Coronavirus, 60, 480 deaths over time, while 458, 123 others have been cured, leaving Mexico with 41, 561 patients to treat for the pandemic, followed by Colombia, which has documented 541, 139 all time cases, 17, 316 deaths over time, while 374, 024 patients have been given clean bill of health, leaving Colombia with 149, 799 Coronavirus patients and then Spain with 405, 436 all time cases, 28, 872 deaths over time while 150, 376 patients are now okay, leaving Spain with 226, 188 patients to cure(19, 382 new cases).
Chile is next with 399, 568 all time cases, 10, 916 deaths since the first case was reported, while 372, 464 others have been healed, leaving Chile with 16, 188 Coronavirus patients, followed by Iran with 361, 150 cases recorded over time, 20, 776 deaths over time, while 311, 365 patients have been given clean bill of health, leaving Iran with 29, 009 patients requiring attention from health authorities, followed by Argentina with 342, 154 all time cases, 7,079 deaths over time, while 256, 789 patients on treatment have been declared fine, leaving Argentina with 78, 286 patients to cater for and then the United Kingdom which has been pushed to the 13th most affected country.

The United Kingdom has documented 328, 617 all time cases of Coronavirus, 41, 519 deaths over time, while only 1, 549 patients have been cured, leaving the United Kingdom with 285, 549 Coronavirus patients(974 new cases).
France is next in 17th spot, reporting 282, 414 all time cases, 30, 533 accumulated deaths, while 85, 352 patients have survived , leaving France with 166, 529 patients to cater for(1,955 new cases), followed by Italy in number 18 in the rank of most affected countries. Italy has reported 260, 298 confirmed cases, 35, 441 all time deaths, while 205, 662 patients have been healed, leaving Italy with 19, 195 patients to cure(953 new cases) and then China where the pandemic was first reported.
Now pushed to 33rd spot in the league of most affected countries, China has reported 89, 704 total confirmations, 4, 711 all time deaths, while 84, 025 patients have been discharged, leaving China with 968 patients to look after.
