RUSSIA – The Russian Ministry Justice has listed Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) (USA) among Non-governmental organisations, NGOs whose activities are undesirable within the Russian Federation.
Others are World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong Inc. (WOIPFG) (“World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong”) (USA and Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (USA).
Others are Global Mission to Rescure Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners Inc. (GMRPFGP) (World Council for the Rescue of Persecuted Falun Gong Adherents) (USA) and Friends of Falun Gong Inc. (Friends of Falun Gong) (USA), Dragon Springs Buddhist Inc. (“Dragon Springs Buddhist Community”) (USA) and The European Falun Dafa Association (UK).
According to the Russian ministry, the organizations are included in the list in accordance with parts 1, 4 and 7 of article 3.1 of the Federal Law on measures of influence on persons involved in violations of fundamental human rights and freedoms, rights and freedoms of citizens of the Russian Federation” on the basis of the decision of the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation dated 17 July 2020.
On July 22, 2020, the Ministry of Justice of Russia included the following foreign non-governmental organizations in the list of foreign and international non-governmental organizations whose activities were recognized as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation:
World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong Inc. (WOIPFG) (“World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong”) (USA);
Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (USA);
