Senator, Dino Melaye, told the Senate that the SSS just yesterday wrote on the eve of the screening proclaiming that Magu has failed integrity test.

According to Melaye, the report noted that Magu would be a liability to the fight against corruption in Nigeria.

“MAGU has failed integrity test and will eventually constitute a liability to the anti-corruption fight”, he said.

Reacting , Magu said the letter indicting him is fake, adding that it was signed by F. A Adams and that there is nobody by that name in DSS.

He said, EFCC is a very strong institution. He said there is no fair hearing in the indictment because EFCC has provision for fair hearing. “They ought to have invited me for a fair hearing”, he said.

He said the EFCC has employed the workers in the cadre of inspectors and superintendents and that the EFCC takes equal amount of recruits from each state, except in rare cases.
