LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 503 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 29,879 cases, 669 deaths, while 12, 108 Nigerians have been discharged, leaving Nigeria with 17, 102 active cases of Coronavirus.

There are now 11, 776, 950 cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 542, 310 people have died, while 6, 405,609 have recovered, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, John Hopkins University, Maryland has said, noting that the United States has confirmed more cases worldwide compared with any other country.
The United States currently has 2, 981, 602 cases, 131, 238 deaths, while 1,089, 686 Americans have recovered, leaving the U.S. with 1, 760, 678 active cases, followed by Brazil with 1, 623, 284 confirmed cases, 65, 487 deaths, while 1, 089, 686 Brazilians have recovered, leaving Brazil with 468, 111 active cases.

India is next with 719,664 confirmed cases, 20, 159 deaths, while 439,934 Indians have been discharged, leaving India with 251, 571 active cases, followed by Russia which has confirmed 693, 215 cases, with 10,478 deaths while 463, 103 Russians have been discharged, leaving Russia with 219, 634 active cases of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Peru, the 5th most affected country in the world has 305, 703 cases, 10, 772 deaths, while 200,938 Peruvians have recovered, leaving Peru with 93, 993 active cases of the pandemic, followed by Chile with 301, 019 cases, 6, 434 deaths, while 268,251 Chileans have recovered, leaving Chile with 26,334 active cases.
The United Kingdom is next, reporting 287, 872 cases, 44, 476 deaths, while only 1, 375 people have recovered, leaving the United Kingdom with 242, 021 active cases, followed by Mexico with 261, 750 cases, 31,119 deaths, while 204, 826 Mexicans have been discharged, leaving Mexico with 25, 805 active cases, followed by Spain with 252, 130 cases, 28, 392 deaths, while 150, 376 Spaniards have recovered, leaving Spain with 73, 362 active cases of the pandemic.
Iran is next with 245,688 cases, 11, 931 deaths while 207,000 Iranians have recovered, leaving Iran with 26, 757 active cases, followed by Italy with 241,956 cases, 34, 899 deaths, while 192, 815 Italians have been discharged, leaving Italy with 14, 242 active cases.
France, number 15 in the ranks of most affected countries worldwide has reported 206, 072 cases, 29, 936 deaths while 77,780 residents have been discharged, leaving France with 98, 356 active cases and then China where the virus was first reported.
China, now in the 22nd spots among most afflicted countries has documented 84,910 cases, 4,641 deaths, while 79, 738 Chinese have been discharged, leaving China with 531 active cases of the Coronavirus pandemic.
