LAGOS, Nigeria -The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 452 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 21, 371.

The Kaduna Centenary Park when completed will house among other things a standard Go-Kart Track, Children Play Ground and Water Splash, Gymnasium, Restaurant and Event Center.

Out of the 21, 371 cases,  7, 338 patients have recovered and subsequently discharged, while 533 others have died.

A breakdown of the 452 new cases showed that 209 cases were found in Lagos, 67 in Oyo, 37 in Delta, 36 in Ogun, 22 in Abuja, 20 in Abia, 16 in Enugu, 15 in Bauchi, 8 in Kaduna, 8 in Ondo, 7 in Osun, 3 in Imo, 3 in Benue and 1 in Borno State, the NCDC has said of new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Globally, there are currently 9, 178, 773 confirmed cases with 474,513 deaths, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, John Hopkins University, Maryland has said.

Statistics from  the centre shows that the United States has continued to be in the lead of most affected countries, with 2, 338, 275 confirmed cases, while 121, 119 patients have died, followed by  Brazil which has documented 1, 106, 470 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, while 51, 271 patients have died.

Brazil recorded 23, 129 new cases and  680 deaths in the last 24 hours based on statistics from John Hopkins University, Maryland.

Russia, the most affected country in Europe is next with 598,878 confirmed cases with 8, 349 deaths, followed by India, which now has 440, 215 confirmed cases, while 14,011 patients could not make it alive, followed by United Kingdom, which has documented 307, 682 confirmed cases of Coronavirus while 43,011 patients have died.

Peru is next with 260, 810 confirmed cases with 8, 404 deaths, followed by Spain, which has documented  246, 752 cases with 28, 325 deaths and then Italy, which has  238,833 confirmed cases, while 34,675 patients have passed.

India, where the pandemic was first reported has 84, 640 confirmed cases, 4, 640 deaths, while 79, 552 patients have recovered and therefore discharged, leaving China with 448 cases, up by 13 cases and 1 death in the last 24 hours.
