Brazil: 28, 936 cases 1,261deaths in 1 day

LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 241 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing confirmed cases in the country to 10, 819 as cases skyrocket in Brazil.
Cases of Coronavirus in Brazil worsened, recording 28, 936 new cases and 1, 261 deaths in a single day. But in Nigeria, out of the total number of 10, 819 cases, 3239 patients have recovered and subsequently discharged, while 314 others could not make it alive.
However, a breakdown of the 241 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria revealed that 142 cases were found in Lagos, 15 in Oyo, 13 in Abuja, 12 in Kano, 11 in Edo, 10 in Delta, 9 in Kaduna, 9 in Rivers, 8 in Borno, 4 in Jigawa,3 in Gombe, 3 in Plateau, 1 in Osun and 1 in Bauchi.

Globally, there are currently 6,372, 447 confirmed cases of Coronavirus while 378, 559 patients have died based on statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, John Hopkins University, Maryland.
According to the centre, the United States still remains the most affected country in the world, reporting 1,831, 435 confirmed cases, while 106, 180 patients could not make it alive, followed by Brazil, which currently has 555, 383 confirmed cases, up by (28, 936), with 31,199 deaths up by 1,261 deaths in one day, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering said of Coronavirus in Brazil.
Russia still remains the most affected country in Europe in terms of population affected.

Russia currently has 423, 186 confirmed cases of the pandemic while 5,036 patients have died, followed closely by United Kingdom which has suffered the highest casualty by Coronavirus in Europe.
The United Kingdom has reported 279, 392 confirmed cases, while 39, 452 patients have died. Spain, the next most affected country in Europe has reported 239, 932 confirmed cases, while 27, 127 patients could not make it alive.
Italy, has reported 233, 515 confirmed cases with 33, 530 deaths. China where the Coronavirus pandemic started has reported 84, 160 confirmed cases, 4,638 deaths, while 79, 400 patients have recovered and subsequently discharged, leaving China with 122 cases, up by about 7 new cases.
