LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 10 new cases of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 184.

Out of the 10 new cases of COVID-19, 7 were found in Lagos, and 3 in Abuja, the NCDC said adding that 20 people have been discharged from isolation across the federation.

“Ten new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 7 in Lagos and 3 in the FCT. As at 08:00 pm 2nd April there are 184 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty have been discharged with two deaths”, the NCDC said.

The NCDC made the revelation just as the daughter of President Mohammadu Buhari who has been in isolation has returned home to her lovely mother.

“It is a thing of joy & gratitude to Almighty God to reunite with my daughter after she had been in isolation for 14 days immediately she landed in Nigeria. While I’m wishing all those infected for a speedy recovery, I pray for the end of this pandemic. . #AbujaScaleUp”, Aisha Buhari said on tweeter.

Meanwhile, there are 1,011, 490 confirmed cases worldwide with 52, 863 deaths worldwide. Meanwhile 210, 186 people have recovered worldwide.
