ABUJA, Nigeria – President Muhammadu Buhari has awarded scholarships to three secondary students to study up to their PhD level.

The three students emerged winners of the Young Scientists Presidential Award Competition held in Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari who made the revelation on Twitter named the three students as Akintade Akanbi, Uwakwe Kamsiyochukwu, and Aimofumhe Sigmus.

The three students got their reward for emerging champions in the Young Scientists Presidential Award Competition at the 2020 Science, Technology & Innovation Expo.

“At the 2020 Science, Technology & Innovation Expo, today, it was my pleasure to grant full scholarships—up to PhD level—to 3 secondary students who emerged winners at the Young Scientists Presidential Award Competition: Akintade Akanbi, Uwakwe Kamsiyochukwu, and Aimofumhe Sigmus”, he said.
