LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed additional four cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 139.
According to the NCDC, out of the four fresh cases, three were uncovered in Abuja and 1 in Lagos.
“Four new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 3 in the FCT and 1 in Lagos As at 08:00 pm 31st March there are 139 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths”, the NCDC said in a statement.

Confirmed cases in Nigeria reached 139 just as there are 803, 650 cases globally with 39,003 deaths. United States remains the most afflicted with 162 258 cases with 3,044 deaths.
South Africa is the most affected in Africa, reporting 1, 326 with just 3 deaths. But Egypt has the highest number of deaths, recording 40 deaths, Morocco with 33 and Algeria 31 deaths.
