ABUJA, Nigeria – The Federal Government is planning to deploy masked witnesses in the ongoing trial of Convener, #RevolutionNow and Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore and his colleague, Olawale Bakare.

The trial of Sowore is due to commence on Wednesday, March 11 to Friday, March 13, 2020 in Abuja.

Nigerian journalist and right activist, Chido Onumah made the allegation on the social media. Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare are being tried by the Nigerian government.

Omoyele Sowore and his colleague, Olawale Bakare are on trial for 7 count charge of terrorism, money laundering and for insulting President Muhammadu Buhari.

Omoyele Sowore last appeared before Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court Abuja where he filed a suit challenging his arbitrary arrest and detention.
