LAGOS, Nigeria – Popular  radio Disc Jockey, Ifedayo Olarinde  better known as Daddy Freeze has resigned from one of the most popular radio stations in Nigeria, Cool FM.

He is leaving after putting 20 years in the service of Cool FM, Lagos.  Daddy Freeze who is 43 years old is moving to another radio station which he  is yet to name.

But  he said the name of the radio station will be made known in due  course.

Daddy Freeze  made the announcement in a video broadcast on social media with the caption, “Daddy Freeze leaves Cool Fm after 20 years! @CoolFMNigeria”

He said he has an amazing time at Cool FM, but that now he needs a lot of time for himself, his ministry and other issues he needs to attend to.

Daddy Freeze started his radio career in 1996 with the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), Ibadan. He joined Cool FM in 2001 and rose to become a senior broadcaster at Cool FM Lagos.

He has won several awards in broadcasting and became a national figure based on his views on tithing, which he has used to expose the clergy of Christendom, using scriptural references.

He has started a ministry.
