LAGOS, Nigeria – Nollywood actor, Tonto Dikeh is having the best of fun. This Engineering graduate has adorned her hands with lovely tattoos just ahead of the Valentine and she is giving tips on how best to find love, this period.
Tonto Dike who also runs a foundation for the needy said if you want to find love and by extension happiness, the first rule is to love yourself.
According to the Nollywood star, many people go into relationships with lots of baggage. For her, one of the hindrance remains inability to love yourself. As she puts it, “people will treat you the way you treat yourself”.
For Tonto Dikeh, you must first love yourself the same way you want to be loved. Besides, she is of the view that most people spend so much time looking for love and getting none. So, the solution, according to Tonto Dikeh lies in loving yourself first.
“Loving yourself gives you the power to love another unconditionally”, she said, adding that it is impossible to give what you do not have.
