Drama at SOTU 2020
Nancy Pelosi and President Donald Trump

WASHINGTON , U.S – The drama or is it telemundo unfolding in and from the impeachment saga of the most important man on the planet, POTUS, yes that’s the abbreviation of President Of The United States (of America), Donald Trump is taking a more interesting dimension with the tearing of the President’s speech by Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Pelosi was angered over the former merely refusing to shake her hands as he entered the chamber.

But the good thing about America is, they will come out of the whole controversies unscathed. No one will be hurt. Their democracy will be intact, stronger and remains the eny of the world. They will learn and grow with it. They will use it to correct their errors. It is all for the good and interests of America and Americans.

So far, we have not heard of the family land or property of Pelosi being revoked or that it has been taken over by Ohio or Washington state government. We have not heard that Pelosi’s home has been sealed up or cordoned off by security agents.

We have not heard that the FBI or CIA have arrested Pelosi or any member of the house. We have not heard that the anti-graft bodies have suddenly called for Pelosi’s arrest over petitions written midnight. We have not heard that Pelosi has bern named as sponsor of a deadly bank operation.

We love copying only the other sectors of America and Americans lifestyles but we leave out their politics and democracy….I dare ask WHY? It is interesting to note that no one is talking about the region or zone Pelosi or Trump hails from.

No one is talking about gender inequality between them. No one is talking about threat to life. I guess if it were in other climes, Pelosi would have got death threats for daring to tear the speech of Mr. President.

Her attitude was certainly overboard and clearly disrespectful but I equally think, Trump was too snobbish for the office of the Speaker. No democratic office is too small. Pelosi was voted into that office by the people of America. Trump’s action was against the people of America and the office of the Speaker, not just Pelosi. Anybody could have been the Speaker.

Trump derogated and belittled that office and publicly too. I am not a hater of Trump but this snub is one too many. He insulted the people of America by ignoring and refusing to shake Pelosi.

However, the lesson herein for us, is, in all the brouhaha over Trump’s impeachment, it still remains AMERICA FIRST! Their democracy and it’s protection is larger and more important than one individual or interest of an individual or group of persons. That is how it should be.

Pelosi proved just that by her action irrespective of how disrespectful it appears. The man and head of government showed disrespect to a constituted authority and got a public dress-down by an irate public servant who represented American people and the United States of America through the tearing of that speech.

We should learn to keep our cool especially in public irrespective of how much the enemy taunts us!
