YENEGOA, Bayelsa, Nigeria – The Governor-elect of Bayelsa State, Senator Duoye Diri has been sworn into office.
He was sworn in few minutes ago along with his deputy governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo at a ceremony in Yenegoa, Bayelsa State.
The PDP that tweeted photograps of the ceremony said the party will continue to provide the needed leadership that will improve the standard of living of the people Bayelsa State.
“Breaking News! Sworn-in Ceremony-The Governor elect of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, has been sworn-in as the Governor of the State. The @OfficialPDPNigwill continue to provide the needed leadership that will improve the standard of living for our citizens. Congrats”, the PDP said.
INEC earlier today presented certificate of return to Senator Duoye Diri and his deputy, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo in Abuja after declaring him winner of the 2019 governorship election.
