LAGOS, Nigeria – Guarantee Trust Bank Plc, (Gtb) has been crowned Brand of the Decade. The bank won the award at THISDAY 25th anniversary dinner held in Lagos.
The anniversay celebration was attended by big wigs in the society, among which is President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, Chairman Zenon Oil, Mr. Femi Otedola, Group Managing Director of Access Bank, Mr. Herbert Wigwe, former Commonwealth Secretary General, Mr. Emeka Anyaoku and a host of others.
It was a grand celebration which was used to honour staff members who have served THISDAY Newspaper in the past 25 years.
It was also used as an opportunity to showcase the genius in the publisher of THISDAY Newspaper, Mr. Nduka Obaigbena, whose successes across his media conglomerates have contributed largely in reshaping the Nigerian media.

The well attended event featured American singer, John Legend and queen of the runway, Naomi Campbell.
