LAGOS, Nigeria – A very successful Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Funke Akindele is not like any other actor or producer earning a living from the film sector. Though very successful, Funke Akindele hardly talks about herself but more focus on her business of filmmaking.

Right from her days in “I Need to Know” a family- centred television series which aired on the network service of NTA produced and directed by Llyod Weaver, Funke has always been an introverted individual.
This programme which brought Funke Akindele into public reckoning attempted to illustrate the consequences of poor choices made by young persons and the disadvantage of yielding to peer pressure.
Funke Akindele who has since blossomed into an enigma in the industry hardly grants interview even when she is rated as the most successful actress among her peers and other filmmakers.
Funke who hardly talks has not been too visible on the social media despite her popularity but she appears to be making inroads into the social media circle this days.
Funke Akindele has not only made a name in the comedy genre but has also soared in the international circle getting roles with international filmmakers, her latest role being Sesame Street.
The lady who has been very conservative in terms of dressing today uploaded a very modern photograph (see insert) above which seems to be her best so far.
