LAGOS, Nigeria – Veteran Nollywood filmmaker, Evangelist Helen Ukpabio is a very happy person and she has been celebrating since Sunday, as a result of baby Jemmy.
Baby Jemmy is the grand daughter of Evangelist Helen Ukpabio and was brought to the headquarters of her church in Calabar, Cross River State for dedication. The event, she said threw the church into a thanksgiving frenzy.
@helenukpabio: Yesterday in our Headquarters, the church was in a Thanksgiving mood as my grand daughter, baby Jemmy was taken to the altar for dedication and handing over. To God be the glory”, she said.
Evangelist Helen Ukpabio is the founder of Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministeries. Blessed with three children, Helen Ukpabio has produced a number of films, among which is Child of the Wicked.
Evangelist Helen Ukpabio is one of those who laid the foundation for what is today known as Nollywood. She was born in 1960 in Mbente, Imo State but she is from Ikot Ekpene.
She attended St Georges Catholic School, Falomo and Jinadu Anglican School Obalende all in Lagos and later Methodist Girls High School, Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom, where she obtained her first school leaving certificate.
