ABUJA, Nigeria – Prince Ned Nwoko, husband of Nollywood most talked about teenage sensation, Regina Daniel has lost on technicalities in his quest to secure his seat at the senate, following the decision of the Supreme Court to affirm Senator Peter Nwaoboshi as the duly elected senator representing Delta North Senatorial District of Delta State.

When the matter came up for hearing today, the 5-member panel dismissed the petition filed by Prince Ned Nwoko against the primary election of Mr Nwaoboshi.
Prince Ned Nwoko had lost at the Appeal, forcing him to put up effort to claim slot at the Supreme Court. He had argued through his counsel that he won the primaries but was cheated by the Peoples Democratic Party when it was time to submit nomination to the INEC.
The Supreme Court ruled against him, stressing that Ned Nwoko was late in filing his petition against the party’s decision and subsequently dismissed it.
