LAGOS, Nigeria – Black ambassador on the runway, Naomi Campbell seems to have stirred the hornet’s nest with her picture currently circulating on the internet. It is studio photograph by top Peruvian photographer, Mario Testino.
She is having a blast and at 49, Naomi Campbell who is worth $60 million is not giving any qualms about her personality and image as the idol, many black ladies seeking career in the world of fashion look up to.
The picture is from her archive where she bared her full black spotless body, with her headgear the only thing she had on. Well some have commended her describing her in words that might prompt her to go further to reveal everything she has hidden in her body, while many gave her very deserving knocks.
One of her followers, who gave his name as J42red describes the picture as bold, classy and extremely Nubian Goddess.
“Such a Gemini move, bloody love it! Bold and classy and extremely 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾…. Nubian Goddess 😍”, he said. But another follower, sweetestrn said ‘ I always thought you had the most beautiful, toned, and shapely body out of all the models during your era and the models today! Simply gorgeous!”, she said.
But she also got knocks from Belightbehappy who gave her a thumb-down, calling her an exhibitionist, “You are Naomi, don’t need to do that”, she said. But Crerex said the picture was nothing but a depiction of immorality.
“We support immorality, let’s call a Spade a Spade, hw can we hail n support a naked woman on social media, is DAT wht Bible teaches us, whts our generation turning into, God HV mercy”, she said.
Thomas Henningsen is also not happy with the photographs. He said he considers the photographs out of taste considering that many models have allegedly been subjected to sexual abuse from top photographers, including Mario Testino.
“In consideration of the many models that allegedly have been subjected to sexual abuse from top photographers, including Mario Testino, I personally find it wrong to post a picture by him.
“I believe that you are among the very select few top models who is admired by most people, but in posting a picture by him, however mesmerizing it is, it may lead up and coming models to believe that sexual abuse is normal and ok”, he said.
But another fan said Naomi Campbell needs an Oscar for that pretty dark skin.
