Atiku who spoke through his spokesman, Mr. Segun Showunmi said in a series of tweet that the implications of what is going on in the judiciary has far reaching consequence for future democracy and elections.

He alleged that judges have been approached by those in power with promises of elevation to the Supreme Court, while intimidation and harassment has been handed over to those who have refused to play ball.

He added that the media is also being threated with consequencies if they do their jobs. “The justices had better be put on notice that the interests of Nigerians and the entire world are in this case and we will not be gagged”, he warned.
