BAUCHI, Nigeria – The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has raised the alarm, alleging that the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC) has perfected plots to carry out mass arrest of its leaders in Bauchi, put them out of circulation to pave way for rigging of the election.

In a statement, Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbodiyan said the PDP has also been informed of plot by the APC to unleash its thugs and compromise security agents to storm polling units between Ipm and 3 pm to snatch results, change them for forward movement to INEC collation centre in Bauchi.

According to him, the PDP members earmarked for arrest include Alhaji Bello Kirfi, Senator Abdul Ningi, Senator Suleiman Nazif, Senator Isa Hamman Misau, Alhaji Hamza Akuyam, PDP Bauchi State chairman, Hon Salisu Zakari Ningi, Hon. Ahmed Yerima, Hon. Samaila Burgah,  Hon. Aminu Tukur and PDP leaders and agents in the 29 polling units.

The PDP called on Nigerians to hold the APC responsible during and after the election should any harm befall its members in the state.
