Charly Boy clears the air on money allegedly collected from Festus Keyamo

LAGOS, Nigeria – Former Chairman of the Performing Musician Association of Nigeria(PMAN), Charles Oputa, alias Charly Boy has broken his silence after he alleged that he collected money in 6 figures as bribe from Director of Media in the Buhari Campaign Organisation, Mr. Festus Keyamo.

The king of Punk music, who spoke via a recorded video said he did not collect any money from Keyamo. Charly Boy made the allegation after his cofounder of #Ourmumudondo, Deji Adeyanju alleged that he was compromised by the powers that be after he was sent to jail.

But Festus Keyamo did not take the allegation serious. He merely laughed over it. “Whoever thinks that I would pay a penny for a song by @Areafada1 that disses both the APC and PDP must have his/her head examined. If the quarreling parties want to hurt their egos by bandying phantom figures, they should leave me out of it”, he said.

But speaking today on the social media via his handle, areafada1, the musician said consistency will outlive conspiracy.

He called Deji Adeyanju and Ralph Adebayo his sons, adding “Pickin when no know wetin kill e papa, that thing go kill am join. Pikin when carry papa go maeket place and bigin put potopoto for im body to get cheap accolades that pickin na bad pickin”, he said.

Charly Boy said to speak the truth, there is no good leadership in Nigeria, adding that there is scondrel everywhere one looks and that Nigeria is in need of new leadership.

He questioned the rationale for Deji Adeyanju to questions his morale, stressing that when he sang, Buhari Pack and Go, they did not question him until he sang about Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

“Why Deji and Ralph no react when I did a song telling Buhari to pack and go and they decided to feel uneasy when iIdid a song concerining Atiku”, he said, stressing that Deji Adeyanju has blocked his access to #Ourmumudondo website.
