At least 3 killed as trailer crashes into Afo-Ibugubu market in Anambra

AGUATA, Anambra, Nigeria – Not less than three people have been killed and many others injured when a trailer crashed today into a very busy market in Anambra State.

We gathered that the trailler lost control and forced its way into the Afor Ibugubu Market, Umuchu in Aguata Local Government Area, Anambra State.

The incident which occurred on Tuesday at about 4 pm disrupted buying and selling as the whole area was thrown into confusion.

The driver of the trailler was said to have been arrested just as the deceased have been deposited in the morgue.
