The desperate Ruling Party, the APC conscious of the fatal and mortal electoral defeat staring them in the face, needed to gain time and momentum. And like we have repeatedly stated, the APC/Buhari Presidency do not care about NIGERIA, they do not care about due process, they do not care about the Youth Corpers who slept in the open and in the cold at various Centres with the intention to serve their nation as Ad-hoc Electoral Staff, they do not care about Nigerians who have traveled to various locations to exercise their franchise today the 16th of February, they do not care about the Election Observers both Local and International who have deployed materials and resources to cover the elections, they do not care about our Children whose Schools have gone on short Holidays for the election, they do not care about the collateral damage of this decision to business, and they do not care about how the world perceives us. All that matters is their desperation to cling on to power at all cost and by all means

LAGOS, Nigeria – Director of Communication/Spokesperson, Turaki Vanguard, Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr. has described postponement of election on the day elections were scheduled to hold as a ploy, likened to the Biblical Voice of Jacob and the hand of Esau.

Nwaokobia called on Nigerians not to be deceived by the APC Presidential Campaign Council’s statement condemning the postponement. He said the fact that electoral materials and logistics were already dispatched yet INEC decided to postpone the election at midnight was to give the APC more time to prepare to avoid imminent defeat.

“Do not be deceived by the Press Statement of the APC Presidential Campaign Council condemning the Postponement, the postponement is the ‘voice of Jacob and the hand of Esau’. It is an incontrovertible fact, Compatriots, that INEC had deployed Staff and Materials, and until the Mid-night of the 15/02/2019 vouched its readiness to conduct the Polls, so what happened?”.

All that matters is their desperation to cling on to power at all cost and by all means”, Nwokobia who in 2015 worked tirelessly to bring President Muhammadu Buhari to power said in a statement.

THE POSTPONEMENT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, A CONSPIRACY POORLY WORKED.

“When the Chief Driver is a FAILURE others consider FAILURE, normal..POSTPONING a Presidential election on election day, defines the predilection to failure of the Buhari Presidency.” -CMN JNR.

Do not be deceived by the hubris of those who side with failure and consistently defend the indefensible. We have seen the postponement of elections before but have never seen the postponement of a Presidential election on election morning in Nigeria. This defines the failure we repudiate. And we MUST send the Buhari Presidency packing with our Votes on the new date, February 23, 2019, their shenanigans notwithstanding.

We urge Nigerians not to be deterred, and or troubled, but to be more determined and resolute to Vote out the APC come the 23rd of February, 2019. We must resist the intention of the APC in cahoots with INEC to rig the elections, and must be vigilant in monitoring the events of the next one week.

Finally Countrymen and women, it is obvious that the APC/Buhari Presidency has put governance and every institution of State on the reverse gear, therefore, Compatriots, we cannot continue this way. We must organize and mobilize to GET NIGERIA WORKING AGAIN. And this is the duty we owe our nation, and indeed posterity.

With our PVCs, Compatriots, we must redeem and rescue our nation from the Draconic and invidious NEXT LEVEL of failure, of incompetency and lack of capacity of the APC/Buhari Presidency.

God Bless Nigeria.
